Now that I have a couple of my ideas knocked out, here's a few more fantasy mods of mine... In Japan, the Steed is made with a factory Springer front end (Asian VLX is called a Steed instead of a Shadow, and is also available as a 400cc bike along with the 600cc ones). So until someone can supply overseas ordering info, I'm researching the possibilities of a fabricated Springer front end. I have one lead locally... |

Exploring the possibilities...
I'm meeting up with a fellow that works at Denver's Choppers. You may have seen his personal bike featured in the "Something Different" ("Photo 6 Page" on the index at the left) of the radically long springer chopper. I'm going to discuss the feasibility of handing him a frame and stock front end to work off of. UPDATE: Well, the low down here is cash. It can be done with no problem, but I'll need roughly 1800 greenbacks to do it... |

Something else really cool... and certainly more of an attention getter. A trike project, and perhaps a raked out front end to boot! U.S. Trikes in Maryland can supply the needed components for the three wheeled additions. I just have to supply the required cash... | ||
