Now that I have a couple of my ideas knocked out, here's a few more fantasy mods of mine...

In Japan, the Steed is made with a factory Springer front end (Asian VLX is called a Steed instead of a Shadow, and is also available as a 400cc bike along with the 600cc ones). So until someone can supply overseas ordering info, I'm researching the possibilities of a fabricated Springer front end. I have one lead locally...

Exploring the possibilities... I'm meeting up with a fellow that works at Denver's Choppers. You may have seen his personal bike featured in the "Something Different" ("Photo 6 Page" on the index at the left) of the radically long springer chopper. I'm going to discuss the feasibility of handing him a frame and stock front end to work off of.

UPDATE: Well, the low down here is cash. It can be done with no problem, but I'll need roughly 1800 greenbacks to do it...

Something else really cool... and certainly more of an attention getter. A trike project, and perhaps a raked out front end to boot! U.S. Trikes in Maryland can supply the needed components for the three wheeled additions. I just have to supply the required cash...

Why be biased? You didn't seriously think I intended on keeping two stock Rebels did you?
